For a Manchester United Fan, there’s nothing quite like match day at Old Trafford. The hum of anticipation in the air, the sea of red scarves, and the chorus of chants echoing down Sir Matt Busby Way. Throw into the mix, some locally brewed craft beer and it truly becomes The Theatre of Dreams. Just a stones throw from the ground, we have been serving up some of our best beers, such as Easy IPA and Pilsner, to football fans for the last 3 seasons, dubbed ‘Sir Alex’ our match day pop-up is literally in the shadows of the stadium.

Fans often liken the vibe to that of the famous Sam Platts. With outside, German-style benches and tables lining the space, giving that beer hall vibe under the Manchester sky. Fans keep coming back and the last 3 seasons have been a great success. If only the results on the pitch were the same.

We even have an inside space too, with a small screen tuned to MUTV, so you never miss the pre-match analysis, player interviews, or classic throwback moments.

Our plans are to update the outside space, ready for next season. It could be a marquee or two. Or even a canvas stretch tent to create a more rustic and cosy vibe, with one or two gas patio heaters to keep your drinking hand warm over the winter months.

We’ve been blown away by the support from our local community, the fans and our followers. You have made this place what it is — a hub for fans, friends, and beer lovers alike. A place for us to showcase our wonderful beers. Whether you’re heading into the stadium or just soaking up the atmosphere from the outside, our ‘Sir Alex’ bar is the perfect pit stop.
